Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This DPA supplements the Privacy Policy and Terms when you use Praxelle on the Family plan with invited members. Praxelle acts as processor of personal data that the workspace owner enters on the platform.
Applies to Family-plan workspaces where the owner invites other members (household, couple, or small non-corporate team). For formal business use, contact us for a customized DPA.
Roles
The Family workspace owner (account administrator) is the controller toward invited members. Praxelle processes data only to provide the subscribed service, per the owner's instructions and this DPA.
Subject matter and duration
Processing of personal finance data (accounts, transactions, categories, attachments, and related metadata) while the workspace is active and up to 30 days after cancellation or requested deletion, unless law requires longer retention.
Data categories and subjects
Identification data (name, email), user-entered financial data (amounts, encrypted descriptions, categories), and access logs. Data subjects are the workspace administrator and invited members with access.
Processor obligations
We process only on documented instructions; ensure confidentiality of authorized staff; apply technical and organizational measures (encryption at rest for sensitive fields, RLS per workspace, audit); assist the controller with data subject rights; notify breaches without undue delay; delete or return data when the service ends.
Sub-processors
We use sub-processors listed publicly. The owner authorizes them by accepting the service; we will notify material changes with reasonable notice.
Security
TLS in transit, Argon2id passwords, session token rotation, workspace_id isolation in the database, and encrypted backups from the Postgres provider.
International transfers
Some sub-processors may process data in the US or other jurisdictions. We use standard contractual clauses or other recognized mechanisms where EU law applies.
